Deposit checks anytime, anywhere from your mobile phone!

  1. Go to either Google Play Store (if you have an Android smartphone or device) or the App Store (if you have an Apple smartphone or device). You will need to download the ESB Bank app from one of these app stores. The app image should look like the image below:
  2. Download and install this app.
  3. Once the app is downloaded, open it and you will be prompted to either log in with your existing credentials or enroll as a first-time user.
  4. Click on Deposit on your main dashboard screen.
  5. You will be asked to enroll and one of our bank representatives will manually approve you.
  6. Once you are enrolled, you will enter the check amount and hit continue.**
  7. Select the account you want to deposit into.
  8. Take a picture of the front and back of your check, following the on-screen instructions (make sure you sign it and indicate “For Mobile Deposit Only”)
  9. Verify that everything on the screen is correct, then hit submit.
  10. We will send you confirmation that the check has been received.
  11. Please allow up to an hour during business hours to see your deposit in your account.

Use the following guidelines to ensure your picture will be captured and read correctly.

  • Make sure there is sufficient lighting.
  • Place the check in front of a dark solid background.
  • Make sure nothing else is visible in the picture.
  • Ensure all edges of the check are visible in the picture.
  • Avoid blurry images.
  • Make sure the check is endorsed correctly (For Mobile Deposit Only) with signature on separate lines-not all squeezed on the same line

**Note: Please endorse your check properly and write “For Mobile Deposit Only.” Please securely store the original check for 30 days after transmission and verify that your check has been credited to your account prior to proper destruction of the check. If you make a mobile deposit before 4:30 P.M. on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit.
